Ever since childhood, I have always been creative. Shaping thoughts is my oxygen. This is where I find my balance. I function very poorly without this outlet. I work a lot from my studio at home, and in order to be able to master more techniques, I have been following classes at the Academy of Fine Arts in Geel where I graduated in 2022. My favorite subjects are figures (bodies and portraits) and I feel most comfortable when I can represent them figuratively. I love working with acrylic paint, Indian ink, ecoline, chalk, charcoal ... The result of using different materials in a piece still surprises me and I wish to expand these techniques even further. I get my inspiration from photos, images in my head, fragments of films and my favorite artists (M. Dumas, J. Saville, L. Cabellut, etc ...). |
